Derestrict Quadzilla Buzz 2k 50cc quad bike

I've just recently bought my son a Quadzilla Buzz 2k 50cc quad bike and was quite disappointed just how slow it was.
After a little digging though I've sorted the problem.....

There are 3 restrictors on the quad
1) is a small thread on the thumb throttle which is the obvious one but even if you completely loosen it off the throttle still only depresses 50% of the way!!! That brings us to restrictor 2.

2) Is located in the carb (this is a bit of a fiddle. I twisted the carb round and managed to get a small screwdriver onto the 2 top screws) If you unscrew the throttle off of the top of the carb and pull it out you'll see on the spring attached to the end a 15mm thick brass spacer like washer, this is preventing the throttle from fully opening so carefully take the spring off (photograph it first so you remember how it goes back together) remove the brass washer and reattach the spring, now put back the throttle cable.

Now that will make a bit of a difference but the quad still won't fly!!!!! Here's for restrictor number 3 that will turn your Buzz 50 into a little rocket !!!!

3) Is located in the exhaust.
Unbolt the exhaust (2 x 10mm nuts) off of the engine and you'll see in the exhaust where it joins the block a washer reducer that is reducing the bore of the exhaust. Stick a Philips screwdriver down the hole and gently pry the washer out. You'll notice it has a kind of top hat on the washer and all you need to do is put this in your vice and drill out the washer to the same size approx as the hole size hole going into the engine (I used a 20mm HSS drill. Now put it back together, start the quad and HOLD ON TO YOUR PANTS!!!!!!!!! And don't forget if you want to slow it down you can still do that on the throttle restrictor.

PLEASE MAKE A COMMENT ON THIS POST IF IT HELPS YOU SO I KNOW IF ANYONE USES IT
