Over the moon to have a new bullock calf on the farm.
Also just to add to the excitement I've just popped down the field and another one of our girls is just going into labour.

Keeping the birds off your vegetables !!!

These vegetable cages are the perfect solution to keeping rabbits and birds away from your crop and there easy to make.
What you need:

- 20mm staples
- roll of rabbit wire
- 2" x 2 " lengths of timber (pressure treated)
- box of 4" long wood screws
- pair of 4" butt (door) hinges
- pack of cable ties
Tools needed:
- hammer
- hand saw
- electric screw driver (impact driver preferably)

So all you do is:
1/ draw out the size cage you need on a scrap piece of paper.
2/ cut the 2"x2" to the lengths you need and screw them all together into individual panels (eg sides, ends and lids)
3/ now lay your rabbit wire roll onto your panels and tack on with staples making sure you pull up the wire tightly
4/trim up edges of rabbit wire to edge of panel
5/ once all 5 panels are made simply cable tie them together and fit the lid with the butt hinges. Hey presto!! Your new veg cage.

Customise your email signatures on iOS devices

If you want your email signatures to look the same as your signatures on outlook and other email providers?
 it's quite simple:
1/ on your iPhone/iPad go to an email that you've sent via your desktop computer and copy the signature.
2/ paste it into your signatures in the settings on your iPhone/iPad.
3/ when you paste it in it will look like standard text and will lose it's HTML properties eg. Colours. Font sizes etc...
4/ shake your phone and instead of the device asking you if you want to undo what's been typed it will ask you if you if you want to "undo change attributes"
5/select "undo" and hey presto!!!!!! Your signature design will look the same as on your computer desktop. 😀😀😀

Little owl pays a visit.

A chap from the water board brought this little beauty to the farm he other day. He was doing some work on a slurry tank and on looking inside noticed a set of eyes looking up at him neck deep in oily sludge. On pulling the little fella out he rushed it to the vets who cleaned him up and painstakingly washed down his feathers and after a little TLC he's made a wonderful recovery and has attached himself the the chap and now goes to work with him every day.
I love great endings !!!!! 😉
